Sandy has made this car model for eight years, and he has brought recycling to a new realm.
Sandy wanted to be a cartographer at the beginning, but then he immigrated from the UK to New Zealand, had a strong interest in making the car model, and diverted to become a craft teacher. He had dreamed of being a full-time instrumentalist, but had broken his dreams because of an accidental injury to his wrist. During the recuperation, he thought of the idea of making the model.
So in 2006, he began to try to make the model for the first time, and whether it is the steering wheel, headlights and all the details, he is painstakingly to some re-creation.
Sandy's models include sports cars, Jeep and other models, with Coca-Cola, Heineken and Guinness Beer and other beverage cans, each model are used at least 30 jars. Sandy now wants to use the bottom of the jar as a wheel, with a pattern part as a decoration to create a racing model.
Because these jars are very thin, the interior also requires a wooden structure to support, of course, also need strong glue, galvanized wire, cable, screws, washers, aluminum and needle these tools to create a sophisticated car model.
Although these models can not drive, but it looks really pleasing.
